Lainey is a 22 year old self taught abstract artist located in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. Outside of painting, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and attending local concerts. 

Lainey takes inspiration from patterns in nature, and focuses on capturing complex emotions that words can’t express. They have created art since childhood; always drawn to vibrant colours and unique shapes. Some of Lainey’s favourite mediums include oil paint, gouache, and watercolour. She prioritizes upcycling second hand art supplies to give them a new life. 

Lainey has plans to illustrate books, design album covers, and paint murals- and they hope to showcase art around the world.
